Oman Data Park and INTRO Technology Sign $450 Million Strategic MoU to Establish Kemet Data Center in the Suez Canal Economic Zone
October 2024, Muscat. Oman Data Park (ODP), Oman’s leading data center and cloud services provider, has signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with INTRO Technology, the technology arm of INTRO Holding, to establish Kemet Data Center in the Suez Canal Economic Zone. Muscat, November 2023: H.E. Dr Mahad bin Said Baawain, Minister of Labor, patronage the launch of Sahab Work-Based Trainee Program , which evolved by Oman Data Park (ODP), in coordination with the Ministry of Labor (MOL) , represented by the Employment and Training Support Center, to enhance and improving the skills of Omani graduates applying for jobs. He added: During its implementation, the “Sahab” program will keen on the values of quality, innovation, enhancing concentration skills, as well as contributes to addressing the gap between academic education and labor market requirements to ensure that fresh graduates are qualified with the skills required by the market.

Muscat, May 2023: The Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah signed an agreement with Oman Data Park Company, for the provision of cloud services, hosting e-mail, monitoring, follow-up services and cyber security services to the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah, within the frame work of the digital transformation process, and in line with efforts to achieve the Oman Vision 2040’s objectives.
The agreement also includes the pursuit to find new opportunities for cooperation between the two sides, providing modern systems and technologies, and communication solutions to meet the requirements of the Governorate of Dakhiliyah, in addition to encouraging the exchange of experiences in various fields.
