  • Eng. Aladdin Baitfadhil is the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Omantel, the Sultanate’s leading integrated telecommunication services provider. Eng. Aladdin has been the torchbearer of Omantel’s digital transformation journey, responsible for driving the growth of Consumer and Enterprise business units of Omantel, across core telco products, cloud-based ICT colutions and emerging technologies. He is a renowned business leader in the telecom’s landscape with over 20 years of strategic and operational experience in diverse multi-domain roles – spanning across marketing, sales, network operations, service delivery and customer experience.

Mr. Saleem Ahmed Abdullatiff

Mr. Saleem Ahmed Abdullatiff is the Vice President of the Business Unit at Omantel. He brings over 20 years of telecom experience and a decade in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He held various leadership roles at Omantel, in the fields of Strategy, Marketing, and Sales where he played a crucial role in meeting business goals. In addition to his role at Omantel, Saleem Abdullatiff served as the Chairman of the Muscat Electricity Co, as well as various boards memberships at Tadoom, Tanweer, and Infoline. Saleem holds an MSC in Engineering Project Management from the University of Manchester and a Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sultan Qaboos University.

Mrs. Nahla Juma Al Balushi

Nahla Juma Al Balushi

Over 20 years’ experience in the IT field. Started her career as a Systems Engineer at Petroleum Development of Oman LLC where she worked on security related projects. Moved to Central Bank of Oman where she progressed her career in Cyber Security and ended up heading the Information Security Management Department. As a progression her career, she was appointed as Information Technology Directorate Acting General Manager. Currently, she is heading the Human Resources Directorate.

Attained her BSc in Information Systems from Sultan Qaboos University, and MSc in Information Technology from the University of Glasgow. In 2017, Nahla attended the Essentials of Leadership Program at London Business School, and completed an online program called Disruptive Strategy at Harvard Business School in April 2018. In 2023, she attended IMD Business School’s Breakthrough Program for Senior Executives. Nahla is Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).

Nahla was working on linking the strategic business objectives of the organization with the Information Security objectives to foster innovation and growth. When it comes to people, she is playing a strategic role in the organization’s success by looking at creating a pool of talent that is aligned with the organization’s goals.

In 2020, she won the Executive Lady in Cybersecurity award from the Middle East Women in Cybersecurity Association (WiCSME). In 2021, she won the Omani Women Prize in celebrating the Omani Women Day presented to her by the government of Oman.

She was nominated by the government to be part of the UK-GCC Women in Cyber Security Fellowship Program 2019-2021, and as part of the Skills Syndicate Group she worked on assessing cybersecurity skills gap across the GCC. In the course of her work, she became a certified Innovation Leader (CIL) after successfully completing a course on the subject, together with an Executive Program on Innovation and Strategy for Business Leaders (ISBL) delivered by the Institute for Knowledge Exchange (IKE) in the United Kingdom (Completed March 2022).

Mr. Ghaith Al Darmaki

 

Ghaith Al Darmaki is the Group Chief Technology Officer at Asyad. Ghaith has more than 18 years’ experience in leading ICT transformations in different industries; telecom, aviation, and Logistics. Ghaith has lead Oman Air digital transformation program and he had also delivered a nation-wide ICT projects and telecom projects outside Oman. Ghaith had also led the launch of a telecom operator ‘’Awasr’’ in Oman. Al Darmaki has a proven strategic leadership and transformation skills focuses on bringing values to organization through innovative solutions and ways of working.

Ms. Bushra Al Balushi

Ms. Bushra Al Balushi

Ms. Bushra Al Balushi is Senior Manager Planning and Economics at Omantel. She additionally holds responsibility as the designated Investor Relations Officer. She has over thirteen years work experience and is well versed in the areas of financial planning and analysis, competitive analysis, capital budgeting, project evaluation, financial modeling and financial reporting. In her role as the Investor Relations Officer, she spearheads communication and engagement with Omantel’s local and international shareholders and debt capital market investors, besides assuring compliance with disclosure and capital market regulations.

She holds a Masters in Business Administration from Sultan Qaboos University and has received several professional development trainings and certifications.
